In a handful of hours Saturday, Solanoans descended on Fairfield to promote voter registration, advocate for the completion of the Census and hand out food to those in need.
“Who better to lift them than us,” said Vallejo resident K. Patrice Williams to the crowd gathered at St. Stephen CME Church just prior to the event.
The Solano Census/Voter Registration Caravan brought together volunteers from all manner of groups including sororities, fraternities, the faith community, chambers of commerce, political groups, businesses and more.
